Missions

New Life Community Christian Church is a mission spirited church.  Our approach is to look "outward" into the community and serve there.  If you have been looking for a place to get involved with serving your community in ways that will make a difference - this could be it!  Give us a call at 705-252-6534 or email; gary@newlifeontheweb.net.

"The church that loses its sense of mission is in peril of its life. The church exists by mission as a fire exists by burning, let a fire cease to burn and it becomes ashes. Let the church cease to be missionary and evangelistic and it ceases to be a church - and the coldness and dullness of death sets in." - Paul W. Powell

Youth Haven strives to provide every youth with the physical, emotional, educational and vocational support needed helping them to embrace a brighter future.

Sleeping Children Around the World is our newest mission. Donations provide bed kits to children of any race and/or religion who will benefit the most; typically being located in underdeveloped and developing countries. No portion of a bed kit donation is spent on administration — 100% reaches a needy child.

New Life Community Christian Church continues to meet the needs of children all around the world.

Christmas Cheer Mission…It’s important to be able to reach out and help families who need some holiday spirit.

At Compassion, we seek to keep Christ at the centre of all we do and seek God's guidance on our plans and decisions.  Compassion's ministry is dedicated to caring for the poor and giving hope to the hopeless by spreading the good news of the gospel.  We operate internationally as followers of God's Word in response to The Great Commission, by presenting the life-changing gospel to every child in an age-appropriate, culturally relevant and non-coercive way.

We are pleased to announce the adoption of Axel Valentin Jarquin Morales.  We will be supporting him to the best of our ability with God's gift of love in a much needed way.

The Kingdom Project

New Life Community Christian Church has embarked on an ambitious project to assist food banks in a number of local communities.  Perfectly good food, that has been historically disposed of by manufacturers or major retailers, is now trucked into a central marshalling point for New Life.  Church members assemble and load pick-ups, vans and cars – each with a destination for a food bank in our local community.

Recently, New Life delivered full pick-up truck loads to the Alliston, Angus, Wasaga Beach and Barrie Food banks.  In addition further truck loads were delivered to the Salvation Army and Youth Haven in Barrie.  New Life intends to duplicate this pattern many times this year.

This distribution of food, with participation of church membership, is responding to Christ’s words in Matthew 25:35, and 25:40.  The Kingdom Project is New Life’s 2010 newest mission and will be expanded in the coming year with the assistance of our members and God’s guidance.
